  I've been to the Grimaldi's in DUMBO NYC and I remember the line just to get on the waiting list was about a block long. The pizza there was amazing so I was hoping the one in Gardens was even half the pizza from the original in NY... It did not disappoint, it was delicious! I can't wait to order again. I ordered a large cheese pizza and it was only $16.00, well worth it.

  This used to be one of our favorite places to go have family dinner. Sadly, not so much anymore. Went there last night (Sunday) and arrived about a quarter before 7 pm. Ordered our appetizer, drink, and pizza by 7. Water and sodas came fast, glass of wine over 10 minutes. By 7:40 still did not have pizza. Waitress said pizza cooks were "new."
  If it were a busy night, I would certainly understand. However, there were only 4 or 5 tables inside and a like number outside. Service should have been exemplary. Unfortunately, not so much.
  At end of evening, Manager came over and offered her regrets for our experience and pulled out some $5 off coupons for us. I happened to notice that she then did the same with another table leaving at same time. It is so sad when a fun restaurant goes bad.

  Very surprice how manny people can give 5 start to this place. Food it's lazy the sauce in the pizza it's water down and the cheese taste like pure plastic it's funny how the only have location's on city's where Italian's don't live. Because they know they will get call out like I just did. That menu it's pretty bad by the way..
